What is the Charlotte Mason Method?
It is no surprise that homeschoolers love the Charlotte Mason Method. This philosophy of education encourages a connection with the natural world through nature studies, the enjoyment of art and music, and the immersion into living books, those that are full of rich language and good lessons and stories. The Charlotte Mason Method recognizes that children should be educated as a whole person. The Charlotte Mason Method is easily incorporated into a family's homeschooling lifestyle.

AmblesideOnline is a free homeschool curriculum that uses Charlotte Mason's classically-based principles to prepare children for a life of rich relationships with everything around them: God, humanity, and the natural world. The curriculum includes detailed schedules, time-tested methods, and extensive teacher resources allow parents to focus effectively on the unique needs of each child. The AmblesideOnline library hosts a large collection of original Charlotte Mason materials, which have been digitized by volunteers.
